I am incredibly grateful for the partnership that I’ve had with Linneal Smith through our work together at The Black Church Food Security Network. In her role as Director of Events, she took us to heights that I could never have dreamed of. From designing our farmer’s markets, handling our marketing, directing our community events, and even joining me in door-to-door neighborhood outreach, she was for us “the little engine that could.” Before her, I had never worked so closely with someone that matched (and even at times exceeded) my drive and willingness to do whatever was necessary to get the job done in service to our people. I admit that sometimes we’d fuss and put each other in “time out” like brother and sister. (lol). However, it was only because we both wanted the best for the organization and each other.

.

While she is no longer on staff with us, she’ll forever remain a part of the BCFSN community and a special part of my story too. I’m excited that she’s now leading her own work called Kynfolk Collective. If you need 5-star strategy development, program design, event management or more, contact Linneal Smith. Your dream will become hers and she and her team will make it grow!
