Virtual Harvest Party

On Sunday, September 27th at 6 pm (EDT), the Black Church Food Security Network will host a virtual Harvest Party to celebrate the successes of the Faith, Food & Freedom Summer Campaign. The Harvest Party will be filled with praise and worship and musical selections from a Grammy award-winning artist. Stay tuned to find out who!

The Faith, Food & Freedom Summer Campaign organized by the Black Church Food Security Network is a national call to action that aims to mobilize the Black church community around health, wealth, and power through the summer and beyond. For the 95 days of summer, we challenged historically African-American congregations to decrease dependence on an unjust food system by organizing what’s in our hands to build the system that we need. We did this by promoting gardening, patronizing Black farmers, and practicing emergency food storage.
