OPERATION HIGHER GROUND

We partner with historically African American congregations to establish or expand gardens or agricultural projects, such as rainwater collection or compost systems, on church-owned land.

Connecting the vast inventory of church-owned land with agricultural initiatives can provide a myriad of health-related, environmental, and economic benefits to the African American community and beyond.

We currently provide training, technical assistance, networking opportunities, and information on funding for our member churches around the United States.

Churches that are interested in starting or expanding a garden on their land should complete the form below:
