OPERATION HIGHER GROUND
We partner with historically African American congregations to establish or expand gardens or agricultural projects, such as rainwater collection or compost systems, on church-owned land.
Connecting the vast inventory of church-owned land with agricultural initiatives can provide a myriad of health-related, environmental, and economic benefits to the African American community and beyond.
We currently provide training, technical assistance, and seed funding to our member churches around the United States.
