As a member of the Black Church Food Security Network (BCFSN), you have access to unique programs that allow us to become an extension of your local food ministry.
Operation Higher Ground
Through our efforts with Operation Higher Ground, we partner with congregations to establish or expand gardens or agricultural projects, such as rainwater collection or compost systems, on church-owned land.
SOIL TO SANCTUARY MARKET
Through the Soil to Sanctuary Market we partner with congregations to bring miniature farmer’s markets to churches on days that they worship or gather.
In response to the myriad of challenges that are and have been hampering our families, neighborhoods, churches, and farming partners, we’ve innovated our programming to create a food value supply chain from Jacksonville, Florida to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This initiative is called the A.R.C. – Assembling our Resources for Community Sustainability.
