As planting season is in full swing, we are celebrating alongside Covenant United Methodist Church in Springfield, Ohio as they put seeds in the ground! This church is led by Pastor Jawwad J. Love who, along with this wife Tammi and family, inspire this congregation to grow & achieve. Their Outreach Ministry & Community Garden is a direct example of this leadership!
The volunteers & team behind this project were able to get their Community Garden planted with bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, greens mix, butter crunch, romaine, turnips, cucumber, kale, peas, yellow squash, zucchini, bush beans, potatoes, and collards. WOW! And did we mention their Herb List also: chives, basil, spearmint, lavender.
This garden is EXPANDING and we are so excited to watch it prosper! Great work to everyone on the team!
