BCFSN Road Trip! Members of our team took to the highway to connect, organize, and build with churches, farmers and other stakeholders in North Carolina from July 8-10, 2022. We were invited by the First Lady Lydia McIntyre of the Poplar Grove AME Church and Ms. Lolita Watkins; a passionate and influential leader in the Greensboro community.
We are excited about our growing work in that area and the ways that the faith community is positioning itself to help advance Black food and land sovereignty in the state while collaborating with others around the country. Stay tuned for more from North Carolina!
